I have a camera with me, most days. It may be my iPhone, my SLR, or my Flip. I haven’t found the perfect point and shoot yet. I’m picky and things seem to break on me. Angry Kid is at the point in his blog stardom that he doesn’t want to be in the pictures. He wants to be taking the pictures.
While we were driving to the mall today, Angry Kid started digging in my purse. He was looking for my iPhone. He should realize by now that my iPhone is plugged into the charger while driving. I love my iPhone but wow, the battery runs out fast. Angry Kid then got a hold of my camera. He kept asking to take pictures with it. I think my mom freaked. I just shrugged and told him that he could take pictures. I think that he is sooo used to me taking pictures, that he is figured out how to handle the camera. By the way, he had my Nikon D60 DSLR, which is a smaller DSLR and easier for him to handle it. He even put the wrist strap around his tiny little wrist.
So tonight, when I got home, I downloaded my pictures from an event that we went to. I had forgotten about Angry Kid using my camera. I was cracking up at some of the pictures. I’m a complete control freak so I edited them for color, etc. but the angles and such are what Angry Kid took. He was sitting in his carseat in my car while taking the pictures.

Random woman in car next to us. He commented on her tattoos & wanted me to roll down the window so he could talk to her.

Angry Kid may not be a photography prodigy, but he’s trying. I had the camera set to auto, so it was a bit easy for him to focus it, etc. If a 5 year old can use a DSLR, anyone can.
